I just updated the NVIDIA drivers for my MX440 card and also got the latest DIVX and XVID codecs. Now my TV out display shows up everything EXCEPT the movie content - this is true both in windows media player AND other players such as "the playa" (divx) etc. It was working fine before i upgraded the codecs / drivers. (i need to have these updates to play certain media that i now have). This all seems very Odd - i would LOVE to know how to solve this problem!!!

I had a similar problem myself. What worked for me was setting the External TV refresh rate to something higher (>70 hz). Thus, swapping the frequencies of the Monitor and the TV might work.
