Solved Can't play Bing video

Specs: Windows XP, Intel Celeron 1.30GHz
As an example, until a couple days ago, if I searched for "running cheetah", Bing would bring up photos of available clips. If I moved the cursor over a photo, it would automatically play a preview of the full clip. When I got to the bottom of the page, the list would expand with more choices.

Now when I move the cursor over the item I want to view, nothing happens. There is no preview. The only way to view the clip is to click it and go to another page where the full clip can be viewed.

Also, when I get to the bottom of the page, instead of more choice coming up automatically, there is a list of page numbers to choose from.

Is there any way to get back to the way it was so I can view the previews again?

Bing uses Microsoft Silverlight Plug-in to play videos on Bing search engine.

I would suggest you to check if Silverlight plug-in is disabled by any chance in Internet Explorer 8.

Method 1:Using the Internet Explorer 8 Add-on Manager

Method 2: Update your flash player
Since you also have problems playing videos in Yahoo, I would suggest you to update your flash player. Visit the link below to know how to update a flash player in Windows.
