can't ping...am on network

i'm on a domain, i am logged on as a domain admin, windows firewall is disabled.....
on this particular machine, i cannot ping anything though i am fully connected to the network. i get a "cannot reach host". My DNS and WINS are correct.
With the same logon name on a different machine with SAME network settings I can ping everything.....any ideas?

i can connect to all servers by mapping, my email works (exchange server(, and my internet works (dns servers)....also i can remote desktop into all the servers...the same servers i cannot ping.
