Can you still access windows?
Do you have any other operating system/files you'd like to keep on that hard drive?
Because if none of those were true, I could email you a file on a disk that would erase all your hard drive, then you'd just have 1 big partition (the whole drive) but you can partition it later. It's called kill disk, you can look it up online, and get the file, and burn it from a CD, then pop it into your computer with the non-partitioning hard disk, boot from CD... Then just follow the on-screen instructions.
So if you want that from me, just make another post below, or you can look it up online if that's more convienent. Here's a link to their website : http://www.killdisk.com/
Hope this helped!

I run Ubuntu 9.04 on my Compaq Presario R3000. I also run windows XP & 7(beta) in virtual box.

no, i cant access on windows anymore. i have files there but that wont matter anymore. All i want is to install a fresh winXP and bring back my hard drive in to use. It would be a big help if you can forward it to me, anytime that is convenient to you. Thanks by the way, I really appreciate it. :)
