Cant Open Folders

ok so ive been trying to fix this for days now and i have come close with that it mite have been a virus but there are no virus on my cpu anymore i used four programs to remove all that they could have find, but basically this is how it goes every time i try to pen a folder explorer.exe goes to 100% cpu usage and the folders wont open.

Easy Find your XP cd and then click on start/run, and type in sfc /scannow. SFC(system file check), will restore all of you critical file back to origonial state.

problem is i left my cd at a friends once and he lost it, true this was an acutal cd legit, so im screwed on that idea cause i aint paying 200 dollars for a new one, so any other ideas anyone

you dont need YOUR cd, just any XP cd, (making sure its home/pro, depending on which you have. ) I'm sure you can borrow one for the ten or fifteen minutes needed to run. sfc. it IS the best option here.
