Hello, I am desparately seeking help to restore my help files. Two days ago I had them now I can't open help files in any application. I can't ever open system information. I still can get into Dos and open all my apps, just no help. There was a post awhile ago and I tried the methods suggested there but still no luck. Any suggestions?

Check to make sure the service is still running. Go into control panel and click administrative tools, services then scroll down till you find help and support and make sure it is on "automatic". If not, right click it and choose properties to change. huh?

Ok, I did that and it was on "automatic" so no "help" there
