Alright, about two days ago I decided to run a virus scan on my computer from the net. I used Trend Micro, located at housecall.antivirus.com. At the end, it told me I had one infected file and that I should delete it. I didn't think much about it and I deleted it. Well, since then I haven't been able to directly open any .exe file. Nothing. Not winamp, not IE, not Messenger or any games. I can't even do a system restore. The only thing i can do is open applications. So, when I open a mp3 for instance, it forces winamp to open. But that doesn't work for EVERY program. What can I do???

Every virus does it's own type of damage. You should find out what virus it was exactly and do research from there. Try this link if every time you get a "file not found" error. http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article07-102
