Specs: Windows XP
Hi. I have had problems with XP and after turning off my machine I now cant see my Slave drive, which prior to this I could access. I cant see the drive either in the Bios or in Disk Management. I have checked the cables and never touched the jumpers from when it worked fine. For some reason Windows now doesnt want to see the slave. Can anyone help?

Verify the disk controller for that drive is enabled in the BIOS. Check by feel to see if the drive is actually rotating.

Your hard drive may have died.

Were you doing anything inside the case or in the BIOS?
