Hello, I can't seem to log into any account in Windows Xp i tried logging through safe mode but i cant neither through there not even in the adminstrator account...Before this happened i got some weird spyware which infected my system, this could possibly be the reason why i cant log into windows well the welcome screen appears with all the accounts and when i click one it says logging in then 3 secs later logging off so I can't basically go into windows Is there any solution to this?

Thanks for your time
From Steven

Try this:

0. When booting your computer, press F8 to bring up a boot menu

1. Select Safe Mode with Command Prompt

2. Select the operating system to start (if you have multiple operating systems installed)

3. Log on with an account that is a member of the administrators group

4. At the command prompt, type %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

Press Enter, this will start the "Welcome to System Restore" screen.

5. Go through the steps of the Wizard and follow the instructions to restore your system to a previous restore point

To boot from the CD, you may have to go into BIOS to set the boot order to have it boot to CD
drive first.

Install harddrive, as a Slave drive, in another computer. Then retrieve your files.
