I recently installed a software by the name of Ulead Gif Animator.. Now i didn't like it much and decided i was going to uninstall it. Upon doing so, i notice that the software still appear in the add/remove list. So i decided to restart my pc to see if it would still be there... The pc rebooted fine and all but when i selected a user name to log into it gave me an error message saying "A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking for the license of this computer.. Error code 0x80070002"... However I was able to log unto any of the user names in safe mode. I even tried a system restore (no luck there), as the problem still persist..

I did what that article said but funny thing the System/Boot Drive letter didn't change, and the registry keys HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Cryptography\Providers and HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-20\Software\Microsoft\Cryptography\Providers
are totally no where to be found in the registry.. I don't want to do a reinstall yet..

additionally make sure the system drive letter is correct in these keys:
1. Use the Registry Editor to navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Cryptography\Defaults\Provider.
2. In each Provider key, edit the Image Path value to match the new drive letter.
3. When you are finished, exit the Registry Editor and shutdown / restart your computer.
