Hi, I need some help with this:

My computer can start. But when Windows loads, instead of starting like usual, it takes me to a screen where I have to click a "user" to log in as. When I click the user name, it says: "Loading your personal settings" but then, it quickly says "logging off" and I stay at the same original screen. I can't get out of this screen and into Windows.

This was what I did prior to this problem:
I was checking to see what programs were starting up automatically when Windows starts. I saw that there were these two programs that I didn't want to start automatically. "BuddyBargain" and something else that I forgot, but I'm sure is spyware or adware, nothing essential to windows. So, I went to windows explorer and deleted those folders to the recycling bin. When I restarted the computer, it runs into the problem that described earlier.

How do I fix this? It might be because windows wants to start those files I deleted, but can't, so it can't start. If so, how do I restore it from the recycling bin without being able to do it from windows. Or is there a file I can change without going into windos so that it doesn't try to automatically start those files? I don't want to reinstall windows.

Thanks for the help.

Bargain Buddy is definitely spyware....
Have you tried rebooting into Safe Mode?
Hold down F-8 and see if you can launch into Safe Mode.

Did you disable them in "Msconfig.exe", in the startup tab first?

Hi,
Same problem as others here. When I log in the system immediately logs me off. In safe mode the same thing happens. Norton ran last evening and came up with some adware which I deleted. Problem started at that point. Would really appreciate some assistance. Thanks

Hi iannie,

If you really want to get help, post a new thread here. This one is sinking south and not many will ewven notice your question.
