Can't log in web pages asking for passwords

September 12, 2009 at 22:39:56
Specs: Windows XP, Pentiun 4 3.4 / 1Gb
Suddenly I can't open web pages asking for ID or passwords (emails, chat, msn, sites, etc).
Just don't get me log in. Other pages works fine.

Reinstalling Windows (XP SP2 HEd.), Firefox (3.5.2), Internet Explorer 7 doesn't work.
Turning off ZoneAlarm either.

Avast HEd., Spybot SD, Spyware Doctor didn't show anything.

Running WinXP, ZoneAlarm, Avast while on line

Any idea.

TIA

jpipoca, updated anything lately? Certain things (like IE8) alter your settings to their defaults.
Another thing to look at is your cookie policy. We can turn them off/on and they're how sites recognize us. Maybe yours are off?
HTH.

Cookies are ON. My default browser is Firefox (3.5.2). Didn't update IE7 to IE8.

Anyway thanks Ed in Texas.
