I am trying to install XP Pro over XP Home. My hard drive is partitioned into C: (15 gig) & D: (45 gig). When I load from the XP Pro disk, Windows only recognizes the C: partition, not the D:. I get the message "Windows does not recognize this partition." Both partitions are NTFS. I want to format the C: drive, but not the D: Is there any way around this without formatting the entire hard drive? HELP!!

hNot to belabor the obvious, but have you perchance tried to contact MS about this? I've always gotten prompt (within 24 hours), very helpful responses from them on the free email support route.
