If, this is the first time you have been this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hw or sw manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hw or sw.
Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options and then select safe mode.

Also to say, you should get more RAM.
XP uses all of 128 to run properly,
and works better.
It slows things down if you have programs starting and running in the background during Startup.
Also when you open programs, things are slower
if they have to take RAM away from XP.

Forget installing XP until you get more RAM. It needs all of 128mb to run at all and 256 to run well.
