Hi guys, it seems that I can not import a certificate in the 'Personal' section.

I tell Internet Explorer 7 to import the certificate in 'Personal' but it keeps importing it in the 'Other People' folder.

Why?
What could be causing this?
How to solve the problem?

Thanks!

Depends on what type of Certificate it is. Who is the issuing Company?

The issuer is my bank and the certificates must go to 'Personal'.
Which is what they used to do until now.

What changed? Upgrading to IE 7 perhaps? I'd revert to IE 6.

Can't go back to IE6 once you've installed IE7.

Plus the IE 6 on my other machine still puts the certificate in other folder, not in "Personal" and they don't work with the site.

You certainly can go back. All you need to do is uninstall IE7.

If it's happening for more than one machine, you might want to check with the Banking Institution's Tech Support.

Problem is that that same certificate installed just fine before i did re-installs on my machines.
I am sure that it is a browser and/or OS problem.
