I am having the wierdest problem with going to a web page I was just at on Monday and haven't benn able to get back to it since. Everyone else can go to it..just not me and it is driving me crazy.
I have tried every setting I know of to fix this and I am beginning to wonder if it a setting in XP or is a problem with IE6 or what?

Do you get an "HTTP Error 404 - File Not Found"?
Since you tried everything, you *could* try another browser. I could plug Netscape or Opera...but I would recommend Mozilla 1.1 or the less-bloated Phoenix 0.4. Don't let the low version numbers scare you!
Visit www.mozilla.org for more information.
The Phoenix file size is about 7 MB.

You'll have to be more specific on the problem. Just saying you can't get back to it leaves a lot of options. Also, are you using dial-up? Where are you doing this at? It's just that something like this happened to me back when I was in High School and they had blocked the site I was going to. Sure, it's a simple answer and probably isn't the reason ... but I'm just throwing out an idea.
Oh yeah, the site they blocked ... was mine.

OK to be specific it is Webshots where I have been going to for the past year getting screen savers. When I try to go to their site it says:Page cannot display, and I have tried everything short of getting another browser like Cyberslug has mentioned, but I will try that too.
Actualy I don't think Webshots has blocked me because I was at my friends house and could sign in, with no problem. It is some stupid setting on here with XP or IE6, maybe that SP1 or something.I don't know, this has never happened to me before.I'll tell you tho is it making me crazy tho, and I need to fix it, or will always be wondering why...Thanks guys, if you have any other suggestions I would so appreciate it...

Ok, I installed Mozilla and when I went to search to get to Webshots...it said connection was refused...Now what? I don't understand what they mean and why or how to resolve this stupidity. Please anyone???
