Im reposting the problem because someone asked if its about the Display Tab missing in the Display Properties. Its NOT that.I cant get into the Display Properties at all.
OK...Here's my problem.I can't access my Display Properties at all. There are 2 ways to do that... one is by double clicking the icon in Control Panel and the other is to right click on the Desktop area and choose Properties.None of those 2 works.
And here is the strange part of the problem...When I change my Desktop Image to a different one (I can do it from IExplorer or Netscape, etc since i cant access the Display Properties as stated above), next time I restart my computer the new image remains, but after a few minutes you can hear a strange beep like sound coming from the pc internal speaker and amazingly the old picture is back in the backround!!
Pls if you have any idea about all theese help me.

Also to say, you should get more RAM.
XP uses all of, at least, 128 to run properly,
and works better.
Maybe you have several programs running in the background that takes RAM away from XP.You also can access display properties via Windows HELP.
In Windows HELP, click Index, then type:display
Reading any of the items below that word will have a link to Display Properties.

I asked if it was just the desktop tab missing in your previous post.
You neglected to answer, but saw fit to repost your question. I assumed that it was the desktop tab missing, and wasted my time in answering the query.
Running the repair option from your XP disc will solve your problem.
