Hi all
Computer A windows XP professional
Computer B windows XP professional
Computer C windows XP home

First, all computers can ping each other with no problems at all.

Computer B and computer C can see each other in network window as well as transfer and share files and folders. No problem there.
Now Computer A can both computer B and computer C as well as itself in network window.
It can transfere files to both computer B and computer C and take files from them.
Now the problem is when computer B and Computer C try to access the Computer A the following message appears:
"\\"computer name" is not accessable. You might not have permision to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
The network path was not found."
Now I should point out that Computer B and Computer C can acctually see the computer A in the network window but the message appears when they try to access it.
I went through the settings and can't seem to figure out why it doesn't work. Each computer only has one user Administrator.
Someone please help me resolve this problem.
I tried to use the home network setup wizard but it doesn't work eaither. Any help would be greately appriciated.

Thank you

I know you mentioned that each machine has only one Administrator account, are the passwords for those accounts all the same? If the password for the user account on Computer B or C is different from the one on A then there is where your problem is. Basically when Computer B is trying to accessd A's data it sends it's own Administrator username and the password it uses, and the permissions you have set up on A may be for the user and pass you have on A's Administrator. What I would recommend first is checking to see how you have the permissions set on B and C and also look at how they are set on A. If it's set to only allow the Administrator, then B and C will never be able to access it without a proper username and password, it will normally bring up an authentication prompt allowing you to give it a valid username and password.
