can't find widows firewall

i can't find my windows firewall...its nowhere in my control panel. i did, however, just reinstall my OS. could this have anything to do with it? there is a firewall somewhere preventing my p2p program from working properly- but the only one i have is mcafee and its turned off

Tino704, Womdows XP SP1 also has a Firewall. To access it go to the Control Panel and open Network Connections, right click your Connection icon choose Properties and you'll find the Firewall settings under the Advanced tab.
