cant find usb port on list for printer

cant find the usb port in list of ports to install hp lj 2550 but th usb cable is connected to the printer and it showns as connected, but to DOT port.when you issue a comand it tells youits sent to the printer then it says 59.CO error

did you check on the usb in device manager?
are they enabled in the bios?
dot is a hp virtual port.
