Cant find sample projects folder. PLEASE HELP

Specs: Windows XP
I have installed Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition (from the CD-ROM) and i am trying to work through tutorials in the book (Starting out with VB 2008 4th edition) but i cant find the sample projects folder with the source code for the tutorials anywhere on my computer! i have searched and searched. PLEASE HELP!!!

Biccas, take a look at your history. Did it get installed/saved somewhere or just put in your temp files and deleted? Suspect you're gonna have to run the CDs again and this time save them somewhere.

Sorry i should have explained better. The files that i am looking for are meant to come with the cd-rom but after installing Visual Basic from the cd-rom, i cant find the files anywhere....

The programming forum 'might' have been a better place to post. But maybe all the tutorial files aren't installed on the hard drive. See if you can find them on the CD.

have you tried a search on your PC? Satrt/Search and Look for the sample projects folder or folders related to VB2008
