I ran a trojan search with a program called Digital Patrol, and it found a "suspecious" dll file in the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\dllcache folder, but i cant seem to find the folder in the windows directory, even if i have turned "show all files" on.

Click start>run and paste %windir%\system32\dllcache into the run box and click ok. If the folder is there this will open it.

I don't know if it's safe to delete or not. But if it's located in the dllcache folder then the answer is yes. Infact all of the files in the dllcache folder can be deleted, their backup files for Windows file protection. I always delete these files. The only downside to emptying the dllcache folder is if you run sfc /scannow (Windows system file checker) you will get errors about each of the files deleted from the folder.
A little off topic but if you wanna save some drive space type sfc /purgecache in the command prompt.

Meant to mention that running sfc /purgecache in the command prompt will properly delete the files from the dllcache folder.

Dumbass...deleting the files out of the dllcache folder is stupid. Those files are needed to protect your operating system from having their NEEDED dll files from being overwritten by the wrong version. I bet you have a 100gig drive, but you just needed that 300mb, didn't you??
