Can't find BOOT.INI file ??

XP PRO I've got my options set to show all hidden files, etc....but it does not seem to be in the root c:\ - A search of the entire drive also did not show a boot.ini anywhere. Am I missing something? I was using this link as a reference: http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/1268/ THANKS

Do you have the “Hide protected operating system files” option unchecked in Folder Options? When you perform a search, you need to instruct it to search in hidden and system folders too. Free PC Help forums MiniApache
