Can't Drag Drop outside of ZIP Fold

For some reason Im not able to drag and drop outside of a zip folder, If i choose to use XP's 'extract files' function, it works fine, but dragging and dropping is no good :(
Also I think this problem has occured since installing Nero 7, aside from the ZIP problem, it also prevented my Nokia PC Suite from functioning properly.

gmonkey, SWAG, perhaps you need to unzip the files within the folder an THEN drag/drop the ones you want. My thought is that you have a problem with compressed files. HTH. Ed in Texas.

no the zip file shows as a folder, when i open the folder to show the contents, i was usually able to drag a file onto the desktop, this however doesnt seem to work no more

I also have this problem. There is a knowledgebase artical about the same problem, but in the Finnish version of XP, and it says that they fixed it in service pack 2, which I have. I tried re-extracting zipfldr.dll but that didn't work. I recently installed Nero 7, but I can't be sure that was when it started happening.
