can't download

suddenly I can't download anymore. whenenver I try I a popup says: Can't download because IE can't open the website. the requested website can't be found or opened. (translated from my language, so the message can be slightly different) The weird thing is dat the automatic updates from microsoft and for example messenger can be downloaded ! ? Who has anny suggestions?
