Comment:

Since i upgrade my pc to windows xp service pack 2, i got a problem with download file on internet or either retrive files on msn messenger.

- When i try to click download any files on my web browser, the warning message appeared "Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded", but it could download with downloader tools (flashget, DAP)

- and on msn when someone try to send me any files it's cancelled with this message shows "This file has been blocked because it is potentially unsafe"

So i did try change everything on my security setting
- when i tried to set my security setting level to under medium, the message error appeared and auto turn back to the medium level.
- when i try to add the website name to the trusted site zone, i can't click 'add' button at all, it's not allow me to click.
- i did tried turn both firewall & kaspersky anti-virus off for temporaly and click on download again, just the same..can't download at all.

could anyone help me how to solve this problem please? i really don't know how to do next now or should i try to uninstall the sp2?

Help me Please!!!!

Goto Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Security and change the security settings until you are able to download correctly, it sounds like your computer is blocking the cookies.

Hope this Helps

ok, the only thing i can suggest is for you to do a system restore back to SP1, There are alot of problems with SP2 at the moment, as you can probably tell by the amount of messages left on this site, I downloaded it myself a few weeks ago and it messed up my computer.
