Can't Detect SCSI & RAID controller

OS: WINDOWS XP PRO
CPU/Ram: 1.4 ghz athlon

My other cpu is having a problem now, just reformatted, but it cannot find the SCSI and RAID controllers. My computer also crashes every few mins when being active. I think its from the non-detection. Any reason why this is happening, I installed the VIA drivers that came with the mobo and I downloaded some from the internet but in device manager it still has no found driver for the SCSCI & RAID controller. Thanks.
