this one stumps me, I cannot delete one of my mp3 files on my computer, It is a 1kb file. I keep getting the error message that someone or some program is using the file and that I must close this program in order to delete the file, but nothing eles is using the file. I have tried deleting from DOS, ran the Checkdisk and still can't get rid of the mp3, however I lost all my other mp3,s in the proccess...Oh well at least I have a list of songs I can start all over, Any help out there?

Try going into safe mode (hit F8 at startup). I have a feeling that you will be able to delete the file as there will not be other files or programs attempting to access it.
Let me know. This is just an idea but I have a feeling it will work. I think somewhere months back I read a similar post and that was the way they were able to correct it.
Good luck.

Yup, I figured. :) Reinstall Morpheus, and try to delete the file (while morpheus is not running). Morpheus probably locked the file for it's own program. That should work.
Tried Restarting and alos Safe Mode Nothing worked. I am not to sure about reinstalling Morpheus as I have hear about the spyware accociated with Music city. Is there another way bk

If you're using FAT32 boot from a 98 boot floppy and delete the file in DOS.

I have had this problem before too. One option i found that worked was to delete all temp files - for some reason this worked once. But usually rebooting and using dos works for me.
