Cant delete files

i have 3 (wmp icons) MP3format sound files 0 bytes in My Playlists. have tried deleting them but caption says 'Error deleting file or folder' "cannot delete, its being used by another program (which it isnt) plz close progs using file and try again". any way i can delete them??

Reboot Win XP then delete.

Try Process Explorer. Freeware... you can search for the file name, ... then locate and kill the process, so you can delete the file. SullyD Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want...
