Can't Delete Downloaded Files Off Deskto

I partially downloaded two real player audio files using Bearshare on to my desktop. When I throw them in the trash they reappear on the desktop. I can't seem to delete them permanently. What should I do??

First build you a folder for Bearshare on your desktop then change you settings in Bearshare to download to this folder. Next drag these files into the folder then delete them.Restart your cpu,if they are infolder try to delete again.Also goto http://www.analogx.com and look for the shredder,its free.
