can't delete desktop icon

i downloaded zdelete, then i deleted it, but the zdelete recycling bin desktop icon is still there. i tried to delete it and a window pops up saying: are you sure you want to delete these icons from your desktop? to restore it later go to control panel.
i have gone to the control panel and looked for anything related to zdelete including Lsoftech (the distrbuter of zdelete)but found nothing.

thanks guys i just went into the registry edit and got rid of zdelete and all its components and the desktop icon just disappeared right before my eyes. literally. I was about to click on it and it just disappeared. problem solved

Also do not use MoveOnBoot to "just remove" desktop icons. You will have a lot of grief if you do, as it will remove more than the icon...
