Comment:
i had installed daemon tools to create virtual drives and ended up screwing with my system. I uninstalled it but i now have some General CD drive listed in my computer that is still messing with my system and does not show it on the hardware list or bios. I have no idea how to get rid of it and need help ASAP!!!!!!! thanks in advance

You did not screw up! Your daemon driver is not uninstalled even after you've uninstalled the progrram because the driver is locked up.
(1)Download & Install Autoruns (sysinternal.com) (2)Goto DRIVERS TAB in Autoruns and remove check mark/tick to uninstall. (3)Once you have done that, boot computer to SAFE MODE (here is how: Start > type MSCONFIG > Third Tab BOOT, elect SAFE MODE). (4) Goto Windows/system32/Drivers folder. (5) Remove the DAEMON driver by simply cut/paste to any folder other than windows (e.g. Documents folder) (6) reboot in SAFE MODE, right-click My Computer > Properties > Device Manager. You should not have DAEMON Driver. (7) Reboot normally.
(note; Safe mode allows you to remove drivers that are not in use...meaning only basic windows are locked and cannot be removed)

Another option would be to reinstall Daemon. Then right click on it's icon in the system notification area (AKA Systray) in the lower right corner of the screen. Remove all the drives and then uninstall it.
