Hi i cant seem to uninstall SearchExtender and Shopping Wizard. Also when i start up IE it goes to "about:blank" on the address bar. can someon help.

Spyware buddy..... Download lavasoft's Ad-aware, SpyBot Search and Destroy, CWShredder, and About:Buster..... update them use them one after another (mulitple times) and pray. Get all of them from http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads31.html
If you have one you will probably have tons more... dont be surprised. Try Firefox www.mozilla.org

Before you use any of those programs, you might want to disable System Restore (it's a useless bloated resource hog anyway) otherwise your cleaning efforts will be ALL FOR NOUGHT.
Once you've done that, you might want to look for an alternate browser which isn't susceptible to that sort of rubbish.
