Comment:

I recently re-installed windows XP on my laptop. Everything seemed ok until I tried to re-create my dial-up connections and XP would only allow me to select 'Always on broadband'. My modem is installed and working OK according to XP. Can anyone help?

Try the help from this thread: http://www.computing.net/windowsxp/wwwboard/forum/49084.html

Before editing the Registry, play it safe and back up first
