Can't copy some install-files @XP

title sez it all! im about to freak out an go right into the nuthouse!
if i want to install winXP the damn s---ty setup cant copy all files correct from the cd! that bug has already been in win2k, but i thought those s---heads aka MS have fixed it, but no!
i already heard things about that its to blame the RAM! i got 1*512MB noname ram@cas3
btw:winME installs fine!
can anybody help, is there a fix?!?

Make a dir on your hard drive called 'i386'

eg. c:\i386

Copy all the files from the i386 dir on your XP CD to the dir you just made.

Install

Worked for me.

thx for the response,
but i already copied the hole cd to my harddrive and installed from it, but the same bug occured
