Comment:

I have an IBM Thinkpad R31 notebook here, sometimes connected with an Iomega USB hard disk to do backups for some Word doc's, Powerpoints, etc. When I try to select all of these files from "My Documents" in local HD and copy to that USB hard disk, it prompts out an error saying "Can't copy NTUSER.DAT: Access denied. Make sure it is not in use or write-protected". Then the copy process stops. What's wrong with it?

Could it be when you select "all of these files" you must be including the NTUSER.DAT file too, which then prevents copying???

I made the system files visible in folder options, try copying 1 single folder instead of all files, but the problem still exist.
