Comment:

A few months ago I got a virus (Klez-e?). I got rid of it, but now whenever I press "control-alt-delete" (Or Control+Shift+Escape) nothing happens.

Anyone know how to fix something like that?
(I have Windows XP home edition)

I searched this site and found someone had a similar problem:

So how would I get back the Task Manager after I lost it?

Can you right-click the task-bar at the bottom of your desktop.
In XP Pro, there is a link to Task Manager listed there. I don't know about the HOME version.

Have a look at the following site. It may have the solution to your problem.

Thanks for responding.

It wouldn't work from right-clicking on the taskbar and choosing "task manager," either.

The fix on that site didn't make it work.
