I recently installed MSN Messenger 6.0 and removed the 'old' Windows messenger in Safe mode.Rebooted and couldn't log in,then i removed MSN Messenger 6.0 and installed the default 'old' version of Windows Messenger via Windows Update, then i rebooted again and tried to log-in but still couldn't do it.Any help and/or suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Don't remove windows messenger just make sure it doesn't start up when windows starts.. also if you use outlook express tool options make sure the check box to enable windows messenger is unchecked!
