Hi Guys, A Happy New Year to all and happy computing in 2005. I have three PCs ( all XP) networked via a Linksys router. Two days ago one PC cant access the internet, the others are ok. Each Pc can connect to each other on the network, but for some eason one has droped its internet connection. I'm usimg Zone Alarm Pro 5. NOTE: I had system resyore turned of on that PC so restoring is not an option. Any tips, I've searched the forum for previous posts, but nothing helps. Thank in advance.

MoR: Have you tried temporarily disabling Zone Alarm Pro? That should be your first step. To verify that the settings in Zone Alarm are not causing the problem. By saying "for some reason one has dropped its internet connection" I assume you mean something like if you enter www.yahoo.com the yahoo website does not display. Have you tried using IP addresses? Try: http://66.94.230.39 If that displays yahoo then you have not dropped your connection to the Internet, however you do have a problem with DNS.
