BTW the specs overhead are wrong im doing this from a different comp! Can't Connect to Internet or Skype? I have a problem which really kills me!!! Yesterday I bought an access point to strengthen the signal to my computer and i connected the lan cable in it to my computer. My computer now says that i have 100 Mbps LAN Connection and 54 Mbps Wireless Connection! Both say im perfectly connected but as soon as i open up Internte explorer it asks me whether to Work Offline or to Connect! And when i ping google.com i get no response from host. I configured the ip address and everything myself since the connection cud not acquire a connection alone. I also did an ipconfig /all which is posted on ipconfig1 = http://tinyurl.com/ipconfig1 ipconfig2 = http://tinyurl.com/murjx7 (It was a long list and i didn't know how to copy and paste so i just did 2 printscreens) And before i installed the access point i had wireless connection but not very strong therefore no very consistent. But Skype worked with that connection and know both the LAN and the WLAN say they are connected but Skype can't log on!! Plz help me (If u have a suggestion regarding codes or enabling etc... plz put a step-by-step procedure how to do it TY) BTW the Computer specs are Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 its a Dell Desktop, the Wireless adapter is a netgear usb and the access point is from d-link!!
