Can't connect to Exchange server

Hope someone can help! We have a LAN connecting through a BDC to our WAN. One users machine keeps being unable to connect to exchange server for email. The only resolution appears to be to uninstall and reinstall TCP/IP on the LAN connection. This works once but then will drop if one exits outlook. Then you can't even ping externally from our segment and are back to square 1. We use Checkpoint securemote for dial up connections but not through LAN. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance

Hi thanks, have had a look but it doesnt seem relevant. The problem lies with client getting out of the segment to the server. Seems to be more a connectivity problem as no one else, with same builds, has problems connecting to exchange. thanks.....
