Allright, here's the issue, a couple of days ago when i started my firefox or google chrome after aprox, 10 mins of use they lost the connection, i couldnt open more websites w/o restarting my pc, BUT, i could use my MSN, Ventrilo, World of Warcraft, Limewire, and any other programs that requires internet connection.
I tried searching for virusses with NOD32 V.3, Adware, Spy Bot, and nothing, i still have the same problem, no navigator would open any web site, and they didnt gave me any error at all, the page just doesnt load and says "finished" on the bottom and its only a blank page. I tried with tune up 2009 and nothing.
I had enough and formatted my pc.
Installed: winamp, msn, limewire, nod32, adaware, spybot, firefox and photoshop.
And the same problem continues, MAN?
ok, im gonna give u guys more details about my internet connection
Cable 2mb, i tried connecting with my ethernet instead the usb cable (the ethernet cable is connected to the other computer and works FINE!) and nothing
proxy detected automatically. etc etc.

What should i do to fix this problem?
Please!?

sounds like you are plugging both usb and wire into a modem that supports both interfaces.

But its a modem not a router which means you are not doing nat.

Have you talked to your ISP about this issue? I suspect because you were only supposed to get one ip but are getting two, that your isp maybe trying to restrict that.

Simple experiment to see if this is true.
Wire in the problem box to the interent interface and not the other pc hooked up at all.

Do you get on problem free?

Education is key to prevention. Prevent conception you prevent abortion. Abstinence training clearly isn't working.

You talked to your isp? Most of the time you don't get two ips. This is why I suggested the experiment of only connecting the problem pc to the modem.

Might want to do a ipconfig on each pc when connected to the modem. What ips do they get? More specifically are they both in the same subnet and after a ipconfig /renew do they stay the same?

You eliminated the OS as a problem with the reload. You could have issues with the nic on that problem pc.
