cant close internet explorer window

My buddy has an Hp pavilian 7955 wit win xp home. He has this reoccoring problem where he cannot close internet explorer windows. It doesnt happen evry time but most times, clicking the red X or going file>exit both do not work. SO far I had him update and run avg and showed no viruses. Updated with windows update and still same prob. Any good worm search programs?? ideas??

Rofl!!! Lol!!! Lamo!!! I am sure it's virus lol it's just that ur IE freezes when you try to shut it down. not a virus Get new browser if you don't like IE's problems. I recommend Opera: free and fastest browser ever seen in the World!!!
