cant change screen area

OS: XP pro.
CPU/Ram: 3.00ghz

i cant adjust my screen area from 800 to 600. i want it in 1024 by 768 i have intel(R) 80865G graphic controller the windows dosent fit to my screen any 1 can please help me send an e-mail i_m_dhruv2001@yahoo.com

From what you've said you there are a number of possible solutions:

1. Your monitor or your graphics card is not capable of supporting 1024x768 (not likely)

2. You just need to adjust the screen size on the monitor when you change the resolution. See the buttons on the monitor?
