Can't burn CDs on XP

I can burn CDs witht he built in software by dragging files and dropping them on the drive, but regular program's won't work.

CDRWIN says "No CDROM recording device was found on the SCSI or IDE bus!" and Easy CD Creator says "Easy CD Creator Engine Initialization has failed : (could not load CDR4)"

I've tried loading new ASPI drivers, but no luck.

Any ideas?

Same problem!
Tried to load Easy CD and Direct CD
Got message Drivers have known conflict with XP. Told me to install ASPI drivers.
If I try to load ASPI drivers I get error message,you are trying to load drivers with known conflict, these drivers will not be loaded????

there is a solution and its called

Easy CD creator 5.02 (watch the 02 thing.)
Get it via edonkey or programs like it.
Had all sorts of trouble myself. But this prog solved them all

I have CD Creator 5.o2 installed and cracked ASPI drivers.. When I burn a CD now.. the test is successful and the burn finishes succesfuly, but then no reader can read the cd.. comes up blank.. I've gone through 4 cd's now.. i know it's not the burner cuz I tok the burner to work and tried it on my win98 box and no problem.. burned cd's without a hitch.. take it home.. put in back in the win xp box.. same thing.. I have the Panasonic 7503 Scsi 8X burner.

Anyone run into this?

Thanks.. I'm running Easy CD Creator 5.02 now and it works fine. I also tried CDRWIN 3.8F and it works.

I had the same problem with XP. I have Easy CD Creator 5, but a friend told me to go find the update and they have one called 5.02b which is for xp. That seemed to fix everything. I also found with that update that it fixed a problem with the 'directCD' software which Easy CD Creator came with.

The problem is simple.

Only Nero and CloneCD is up with XP.

For the image of cdrwin, use nero: Data Mode 1, Data brut activate and 2352octet.

If we are a other problem, use Deamon Tools 2.88 or WinIso 5. Other version don't work good with XP

I got the same problem too.
SCSCII Targer Error and cant burnt.
Can't burn cds.. Wasted like few CD-Rs.

I'm using the latest version of NERO and
HP Cd Writer 8200 E.
