Can't burn audio cd's in Xp

Hi i can't burn audio cd's in winxp if i use roxio or any other program it gives me error after 60% but with windows media player it burns fine but i don't get the best quality is it possible to fix this problem thanks

Roxio has had many problems( Do a search on this site) with XP but i think there are upgrades that do fix the problem at their site. I use Nero 5.5 and have no problems but earlier versions of Nero do not work with XP.

Have you used the XP migration update from Roxio? You need that plus the update to 5.02d. http://www.roxio.com/en/support/roxio_support/ecdc/ecdc_software_updatesv5.html Make sure to read the section for XP users to get complete instructions too.
