Upon startup this message pops up on my desktop: Cannot attach to driver 'CDUDF.SYS', please make sure it is loaded. How do I fix this?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/311466Normally, the cdudf.sys file should be in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. If it is found anywhere else, then the cdudf.sys could be a virus, Trojan, worm, or spyware!
Another way is to uncable the CD Rom, then start the comp & see if it behaves.
Now shutdown & recable the CD Rom.
Reboot & see how it goes.
