I have a secondary internal hard drive on my system from an old computer . I am trying to access my documents on that drive . When I try to open my documents I get the message access denied . Does anyone know how I can gain ownership on these file on this system ?
Is the old drive bootable? I have formatted all 3 of the drives on my computer as NTFS and when I boot up with any old FAT formatted Floppy or CD-ROM, I can't see my hard drives. Try booting your computer with an old DOS disk or something with a FAT format. You might be able to access the old drive. I'm no expert but it's something that I would try. Slocode
