Comment: Having a problem on my desktop; earlier tonight the internet decided to dump about 5 billion viruses on me while looking up song lyrics. While I got most of it cleared out, none of the Windows-related icons on my desktop are working, I get an error everytime I click them. All it says is "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close." Checking through my folders, I found a couple files that were created today, none of which I can delete: ZServ.dll Helper101.dll BTGrab.dll Any idea what the problem is, and how I can get my icons working? Thanks in advance.

Reply: Courtesy of Wombat, Go here and get MoveOnBoot, this will get rid of it... www.gibinsoft.net/gipoutils/fileutil/index.htm That should help get rid of the unmovable files. As to restoring functionality to other things, if System Restore has been compromised by the viruses and crap then you may try running sfc /scannow in commandprompt. I don't know if these will help. Please post back and let us know. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and his wife will never forgive you.

Reply: Something installed, but on its own. I was at emp3world.com (yeah, DON'T go there :P) and all of a sudden a pop up goes CONGRATULATIONS YOU'VE WON A FREE SEARCH ENHANCER. Next thing I know, I've got two additional search bars, and some crap called Virtual Bouncer telling me I have parasites on my computer. I also ended up with 6 low-level Trojans.

Reply: Sorry for the double post: Thanks for the help, guys, I used the MoveOnBoot program and deleted ZServ.dll, Helper101.dll, and BTGrab.dll, and now I can access my desktop icons again. Once again, just for reference, DO NOT GO TO EMP3WORLD.COM. The stuff it installed on my computer included but was not limited to: AdRoar MySearch Toolbar PC101 Search or something like that Surf Sidekick BookedSpace Unknown Statrup.65 Unknown Startup.127 Virtual Bouncer And 6 Trojans (their names were download, adwaheck, and one that had a t in it, there was 2 of each on my PC) I had a similar problem on my old computer when I visited another lyrics site, for some reason they seem to be a hot spot for these kind of files. Needless to say, I'm not going to be looking up song lyrics for quite a while. Once again, thanks, and happy new year.
