Hello, I got a big problem with accessing my second harddrive, heres the story:
I got 2 harddrives, C: and D:, and i decided to format and reinstall XP on C:.
I did format and install xp but after that I noticed that I cant access my harddrive D: anymore, it just says "The Disk in Drive D is not formatted, do you want to format it now?".And I really dont want to format it because then I will loose all data I have on it. I used "Disk Managment" and on "File System" on the D: drive it says nothing while it stands NTFS on C:. It stands that theres 74,5 gb free on it, wich cant be because I got lots of data on it and in "Paragon Partition Manager" it says the correct information about the free space.
So I wonder if anyone can help me out with this problem, how to access the drive again without reformat it and loose all the data.
Thanks /Johnny

Well Johnny, it looks like Paragon Partition manager whatever that is, may not do things the way WinXP likes them. Can you access the drive D:\ in DOS and copy the files to C:\ and keep from loosing them?? A win98 startup disc will still get you to DOS. Maybe some better known software like PowerQUEst might work. A final attempt would be to remove your drive D: and take it to another computer and access it there. Normally when the drive is recognized in BIOS and Windows both, and Win says it is unformated, you are in big trouble.

Hello, the problem is solved now.
I took my harddrive to a friend who had PowerQuest Partition Magic, first we tried just to connect the harddrive to his computer and then look if it worked and it didnt, so we ran Partition Magic and it found a error on the disk, and lucky it was succesfully fixed :)
So now I didnt had to format, so happy, hehe. Thanks for the help, and thanks for replying to my problem. I posted on 2 other forums but no one did answer.
/Johnny
